My name is Amanda. In October of 2018, I was on the ledge of a Canadian hotel room ready to end my life. While an unexpected intervention brought me down, I realized in the following weeks that I needed to make some serious changes. I want to share those changes and my process with others. I want to make sure that every person I come into contact with feels seen, heard and valued. And I want to shatter the heck out of the mental health stigma!
